Melynda Jamison, Executive Director of CASA of Lexington, Chosen as National CASA’s Kappa Alpha Theta Program Director of the Year

The Kentucky CASA Network (KCN) is pleased to announce that Melynda Jamison has been selected as the 2018 National CASA Kappa Alpha Theta Program Director of the Year by the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association (NCASA). This marks the first time in more than 20 years that a Local Program Director from Kentucky has received this most prestigious award. Melynda became the Director of CASA of Lexington in 2013, and in just 4 years, her work has greatly increased the number of children served in Fayette County and Bourbon County.

Kentucky CASA Network Selected as Recipient of the National CASA Toy Foundation/Amazon Grant That Brings over 8,000 Toys to CASA Programs and Statewide Child Welfare Organizations to Kentucky The Kentucky CASA Network (KCN) is pleased to share the results of a National Grant opportunity which brought an abundance of Holiday Toys to needy children in the Commonwealth during the Holiday Season. The National CASA Association, the parent association of the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program selected The Kentucky CASA Network as one of the recipients of a grant opportunity from the Toy Foundation and Amazon.com.
