CASA Program Director

The CASA Program Director will provide CASA volunteer advocacy services to children who are victims of abuse and neglect in Knox and Laurel Counties. The Program Director will motivate, empower, guide and supervise volunteers as they advocate in the best interest of abused and neglected children. The candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, actively engage community partners and stakeholders, regularly attend family court, and maintain an active relationship with other child welfare services.


  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the juvenile justice, child welfare, and/or the child advocacy field
  • Must pass a drug test/background check
  • Valid KY driver’s license
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social services or related field. Experience may be substituted for education. If a college degree has not been completed a writing sample or video may be requested.
  • Experience in writing and implementing grants
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, written, and oral communication skills
  • Most importantly a passion for helping abused and neglected children
